We’ve known for some time that the cost of getting your app to the masses was becoming incrementally more expensive by the minute.  This TechCrunch article claims that UA cost has hit $1.60+ per for an install and three uses.  Those figures do not bode well for small developers without marketing budgets or alternate plans for distribution.  We’ll start a new series on marketing strategies in the coming weeks.
