# Wired: Mobile Payments Finally Solves a Problem

Then the reader will start honking like an air-raid siren, as if something has gone horribly wrong.

Totally agree with them here, this EMV thing is SOOOOOOO very wrong for SOOOOOOO many reasons, that it would take a lot longer than we want to devote to the situation to describe.

But yet…  payments aren’t the only thing you can do with a mobile wallet, dear friends, do not lose sight of that fact.
