In a nutshell, consumers are driven by certain incentives, and coupons are still one of the most effective methods of acquiring new customers and boosting ROI on existing customers.  However, convenience is a HUGE factor in how the customer perceives the opportunity…  for example, a customer who forgot to bring a coupon is less likely to buy that item because they opt to wait until later, when they have the coupon in their possession.
