Small businesses seem to find it difficult to integrate newer tech in a timely manner for a lot of reasons – cost, ROI, time to learn and administer, and of course the fear of failure at the attempt.  In the process, a lot of them miss opportunities to increase their revenue and profits because they don’t take the chance to utilize something new and the large box stores/chain types have the ability to experiment with large budgets and reap the rewards while not being stung so badly by the failures.

#2 and #6 are especially relevant for working with small businesses in a localized setting, and if you are attempting to become a vendor to small businesses, excellent advice if executed properly.
